Hello, this is Eins. 

Pan has graciously allowed me to contribute scenes to Demon Gods with a few charm scenes, expanding the Dryad Queen, and content for Rhelyla. I hope they’ve made playing through Demon Gods more enjoyable for you. I wanted to talk about what’s in this update.

I must apologize first. I nagged him for months about wanting to add a way to knock up Rhelyla, but then didn’t write the scene once I finally received permission. If you want to hear an excuse, it’s because I burnt myself out writing an 80k word novel in 3 months for the first JNC light novel competition. I didn’t even make it past the first round (I’m still a bit peeved about that).

However, it’s here now. This was originally supposed to be a secret quest, but there shouldn’t be too much harm in telling you all how to get it, right? It’s a time-limited quest that requires the male origin, the transformation tome, completing Rhelyla’s transformation training, 5000 cum, and completing it while you’re still on Earth. As for why it has the restriction? Well, it’s how I convinced Pan, “What if the player gets to her first?”

This update also includes additional scenes in chapter 4 that react to the development. One of which is an update to a scene where the player didn’t get to her first. Pan told me some of the feedback wasn’t quite so positive, and playing through it myself, I agreed. It was totally written like we got cucked, but that wasn’t his intention. He intended for it to be more like an open, three-way relationship, because succubi and incubi can’t have human-like relationships. Their appetites and instincts make it impossible.

Sometimes that happens with writing. I’ve written scenes and chapters where I thought I was conveying one message, but ended up conveying an entirely different one.

And since I was already writing an alternate version, I offered to update that scene as well, trying to bring it closer to what he intended. If that scene disappointed you, please give either of the new ones a read. Hopefully, they leave you with a better feeling about the development.

Speaking of which, this update also includes a fix for a major bug with the Dryad Queen for the content I wrote. While it was possible to complete the quest, it wasn’t showing the event that explains what’s going on or the first sex scene together. That should be fixed now.

This is also another thing I have to apologize for. I didn’t help bug test the quest, and I sent quite a bit over to Pan, so it was likely that a bug would appear somewhere in the code. Funny thing, ever since that submission, Pan is always telling me, “Keep it simple” when I propose an idea. I may have traumatized him.

Moving forward, as Demon Gods begins to wrap up, I’ll be contributing more. Pan and I were talking about the endings to the game, and with all the different branches, alternatives, add-ons, etc… it’s a lot. Like, we’re gonna need a spread sheet for all this.

More immediately, I wanted to give Pan a little bit of a break before pushing into all of that. Even before he posted about catching his son’s fever, he was becoming a bit burnt out. I was hoping to give him something of a writing break, so he’ll be in better shape when he finishes Demon Gods.

The next update, I’ll be working on back filling content. Pan approved an idea I have for some alternate/additional content for Scyllus, and Arabella could use some more too, don’t you think? I also may add some scenes to Earth to help with gathering enough cum for Rhelyla’s quest while on Earth, but besides that, I have no plans to add anything before chapter 4. So, if you’d like to see any new content quickly, please keep a save at the beginning of chapter 4. 

I’m not sure how much of this I’ll get to this month, but that’s where my attention is at. I’m also open to fleshing out other characters who have prominent places in the story. Let me know if there are any in particular you’d like to see more of.
